Toddler had a nightmare (traveling)?
So my toddler and our family were traveling one night and I let her watch Imagination Movers on our portable DVD player. That night on the plane she woke up with a gasp and tears down her cheeks. I asked her what was wrong and she said the man from the show had popped up in her dream and scared her. If you aren’t familiar with the name, maybe you have seen it on playhouse disney. She said “Mover Scott” had scared her. I know it’s funny but has any of your toddlers/kids every been scared of a show? Here’s the man who’s she afraid of:

I have a DVI-I(Female) on my laptop and HDMI(Female) on my T.V, my laptop also has stereo Audio out?
Hi Guys, I have two questions
First one is related to my video:
I have a DVI-I (Dual link) Female connector on my laptop and a Female HDMI connector on my TV, I already have a HDMI-to-HDMI cable (for my DVD player), Am I right while looking for a Male DVI-I (Dual link)-to-Female HDMI connector? Also please tell me a place from where I can get a deal on this connector. (part number, website etc)
For my Audio
2. What type of cable I need for my Audio I have stereo out on my laptop (female) the kind of connector that is used from the old days (walkman style), and on my TV I have audio in (those red, yellow and white cables) I guess they are called RCA not sure though, Also please tell me a place from where I can get a deal on this connector. (part number, website etc)
I am in Toronto Canada, and prefer buying anything over the internet
Thanks
The way I understand it is that DVI stands for Digital Video Interface. HDMI stands for High Definition Multimedia Interface. This is exactly what these stand for.
DVI only supports Video connections. The HDMI supports any media format that it can be hooked up to. Use can use the DVI for Video and the HDMI for sound but if you go that far why not go with the HDMI all the way? SO going from DVI on one end to HDMI on the other is possible but it will only carry the video end of the media.
As for the connection from your laptop to your stereo, look into Radio Shack or Circuit City. I have better luck with Circuit City when calling in and ordering parts. If you talk to a tech they will tell you what you need. I hope this helped clear some things up for you. Good Luck.
