While working in a factory setting, my father recently understood the value of wearing his safety eyewear. A hard plastic piece of a machine he was working with suddenly broke off and shot right at his face! Luckily the material hit the safety lens and dropped to the floor. Upon examination of the lens, there was an actual dent or nick in the lens. Everyone knows without a doubt that it would have been his eye that was injured, if he’d not had the safety eyewear in place.
